Overview:

We are seeking a Stewarding Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of stewarding management experience in a quality hotel with several hundred rooms, and knowledge of inventory procedures .

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and coordinate the work duties of the stewarding staff of approximately 12 to 15 employees on a daily basis
• Operate & achieve budgeted labor
• Inventory & cleaning supplies cost
• Conduct inventory of silver, glass, china & linen.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels and sufficient supplies.
• Work closely with Executive Chef & Banquet Manager concerning special arrangements.
• Perform duties of stewarding personnel as required.

Qualifications:

• Two years related experience in a dishroom.
• Two years previous management experience.
• Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession.
• This includes experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or food and beverage management.
• Ability to make quick decisions in high stress situations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pleasant and positive personality.
• Well organized.
• Ability to listen effectively, speaks, read and write English clearly to ascertain and document important information.
• Serve Safe Certification and State Sanitation Certification preferred.

Compensation Range:
The compensation for this position is $45,000.00/Yr. - $55,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
